On behalf of the Board, I am happy to report that we have completed the Club Manager search process and we will have a new manager starting on December 11th! Our new manager has signed our offer letter and the Board is finalizing the last steps of completing employment documents. We expect to have a formal announcement to the membership as soon as those last steps are completed. Bob has graciously agreed to remain with us for a transition period over the new manager’s first month or so. The Board anticipated the need to have a transition and allocated those funds in this year’s budget. We have also been working with both Bob and Celina to ensure that during this transition, the Club’s internal procedures and long history of property management are onboarded to our new manager as part of a planned orientation over these overlapping weeks. Thank you to the hard work of Mike Dixon and his search committee.
I attended the Finance Committee meeting yesterday, and would like to share with the membership that our Club is in excellent financial condition and is prepared for 2024. In fact, we are in the best financial condition in over 15 years. This year’s budget includes many capital improvement, beautification, and preservation projects that are going to make our community better than ever.
The combination of our strong financial position, planned community improvements, and welcoming our new manager are all solid accomplishments this year. As our membership begins to see these accomplishments in action, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us and share your feedback, especially the good kind!
